Acts as a diuretic, urinary antiseptic and appetite stimulant. Inhibits production of dihydrotestosterone, a form of testosterone that contributes to enlarge of the prostate. May also enhance sexual functioning and sexual desire. Used clinically to treat benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH). Can be combined with nettle root for BPH.
Saw Palmetto's ability to treat BPH may have far-reaching implications for the treatment of female hormonal dysfunctions especially polycystic ovaries which is associated with elevated DHT and female hormones and may be very responsive to saw palmetto.

Each Vegicap provides: Standardised Saw Palmetto Berry Extract (45% 50% free fatty acids) 150 mg Raw Saw Palmetto Berry Powder 300 mg In a base of PhytO2X a (mixed tocopherols, mixed carotenoids, rosemary extract and vitamin C). Encapsulated with natural ingredients: Vegetable powdered cellulose, magnesium stearate. Vegicaps capsule shell: Vegetable cellulose, vegetable glycerin, water.
